That sounds good. It means, this setup could be a real workstation and not just a powerful machine, with rag-tag software. That fix will be backported to older kernels? Or will Void provide an 5.4 kernel? The sound card support definitely needs more work, though. As for endianity, i think it does not really matter which endian we use, if backward compatibility is not an issue and since we are talking about Linux, it won't be. Except if we want to use legacy hardware. I've checked your bill; the cheapest MB (Blackbird) is 1100 USD, how did you got it for half price? Or you bought this one machine all-in-one? Then how did you get it for nearly 1000 USD cheaper? |
