Well, i did and experienced the things, elaborated above. NetBSD is also problematic. OSX worked flawlessly, MorphOS and Linux worked with smaller or bigger issues. He may be on fb, but he is not that Adam, you linked. Note the accents on the "a"-s, it's Ádám, he is hungarian. As i'll have some time, i'll check their videos. Frankly, i am not surprised; Google is infamous of bad quality. So, rather than having the big data-traders to fix their bugs, IBM changed the endianity, to keep them on IBM mainframes. Another reason for hating Google. Yes, they are lazy and Chrome is indeed a nightmare, a very unpleasant one. And the worst thing is, that nowadays practically everything had become a Chromium fork, even the dreaded explorer. (Okay, every cloud has a silver lining. :P ) Except for Safari and the remnants of the Firefox ecosystem, but i have no idea how longer the latter one will exists, if they keep screwing up things like they do recently. Heh, it's mutual. :) It's always nice to talk to someone who prefers a multipolar computer ecosystem and despises the WINTEL defacto monopoly. (At least, based on your remark, i assume you also do "love" good old billy-boy and his gang. :P ) Still did not have the time to watch his torments, but i will make some time and watch his presentation. |
