Hello Carlos! Thanks for the updates, i added them all. Debian is also updated for the Sparc64, as Adrian continues to support Sparc64 too. CruxPPC is actually updated, they had moved to a new repo and released their newest alpha image, now we have a real ISO of CruxPPC 3.5. KISS source was updated too, nothing big though, just some updates, so, now standing at 0.1.4. I found no images for Ubuntu 20.04. The path supposed to contain the images is contains nothing but some "legacy images" folder, where there are no images at all, legacy or not. Their "help" either pointed me to the AMD64 images (on the PPC64 help page!), or gave me two link, which from none of them worked at all (404). The mirrors also contained only the AMD64 images (and half of them were outdated by literally a half decade). Also no images for MintPPC, just new installation instructions and the news of updated packages. The older G3 & G4 image also disappeared, the G5 is still up. I've read the maintainers thread; well, no, that is really not true what they state: a bunch of guys volunteered to maintain PPC32 and PPC64, but they were turned down and after then they dropped the support, referring to the lack of maintainers. It's like i intentionally pierce the tires of my bicycle and then i tell everybody that i cannot go to anywhere, because my tires are flat. Is there any usable hardware which is built on Microwatt, or is this only for embedded Linux? |
