So, i am not alone with my second thoughts about the memory controller's firmware. This guy is right, if we want to have a computer we can fully trust, then we have to know what it does, down to the tiniest details. Even if it would not make any sense to put malicious code into a memory controller's firmware. That is some great news; that stuff ought to be much cheaper than the big Raptor irons, so maybe even i can afford one. :P I know. I only mentioned these for them being funny. And the nextgen Amiga OS-es. MoprhOS 4 will have memory protection, SMP, 2GB+ memory support and rumors says they are considering supporting the Raptor machines. I hope so. No, but i include every kind of OS here, including server and embedded too. Thanks for the update. Soon, i'll update the entry. Hey, thanks, now we have downloads for all Apple entries.
Yep, they are celebrating their quarter century long existence and their 25th birthday gift was the Raptor support. HB OpenBSD! :) |
