Well, I have to backtrack a little bit. In the application, you have a cover letter and a CV. At the beginning I wrote about my handicap in the cover letter. But this turned out to be a mistake, because I got almost no invitations. Later, I mentioned my handicap in the CV under the heading Military service -> exempt due to my handicap. In the end, I wrote the same in the cover letter as in the CV. The difference is, if something like that is in the cover letter, it carries more weight. You make the handicap bigger than it is. In the CV it is only a "side note". I have to or should mention my Handycap, because it is not overlookable ;-) I would only mention a possible handicap like CFS (if at all) at the on-site interview. It is also of utmost importance to clarify what the handicap means. I have always emphasized that it does not limit me in any way in my work. I would like to send you my application documents. Maybe they will be an inspiration for you. I would write your lack of experience in Windows development in the application, because that is a clear thing. But I'm not sure about your lack of high-math experience. I would discuss that better on the spot. Because the people reading the application usually don't have a clue about that kind of stuff. If it goes stupid he thinks, oh he can't do math and you're out. Next time I could enter my mail in the email field. You then could C&P the address and then delete it from the email field and send me a mail? Here is MicroOS and Kubic mentioned https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:MicroOS https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Kubic Last time I tried RiscySlack. A lot of I already tried. But a few are still on my list. As soon as I win the jackpot in the lottery you get a system for free for sure. But it's really hard to make it. I read about someone who gave away a Blackbird. Unfortunately, he didn't package it well. So a lot of SMD parts fell off ... |
