Bruce Perens blogján jelent meg a hír, hogy az új cpu microcode frissítések kiadásával egyidőben módosultak az ahhoz kapcsolódó licencfeltételek. Annak egy vonatkozó pontja szerint az Intel megtiltja a cpu teljesítményének mérésekor keletkező eredmények publikálását és összehasonlítását más termékek értékeivel.
