Hello Carlos, Could be worse... You? Thanks for the updates. I updated AIX 7.2 to 7.2.3, Alpine 3.9.0 to 3.9.4, OpenSuse 15.0 to 15.1 and Ubuntu 14.04.6 to partial support. I added Fedora 30, Ubuntu 18.10, Ubuntu 19.04 and the latest Arch alpha image. As for GNUStep, there are still no trace of 2.5, 2.5.1 or 2.6 for PowerPC or Sparc64. I regularly check their sites for years now, to no avail at all. To be honest, GNU Step 2.5 or 2.6 could be the only usable Linux for Sparc64, but nothing happens. Not surprisingly, since it's based on Debian 9, which dropped almost everything aside from x86 and ARM. Void can be the defacto PowerPC distribution, if they will ever be done... All of the other Linuxes are either not supported, not suitable for normal desktop usage, systemd infected, or 64-bit little-endian only. The only exception is Ubuntu 16.04, or maybe if we are content with "partial" support, then Debian 8 and Ubuntu 14.04 too. |
