Regarding AMD64, wow then they certainly still have a lot of work ahead of them, I guess.

The "Endia mystery" seems to be solved. I asked on the Raptor IRC today.We both were right more (you ;-)) or less (me).

They also said on the IRC: PowerPC has always been bi-endian but 64 bit bi-endian wasn't supported very well because IBM never supported it in firmware"
