I'm afraid, they're web2-believers. The instructions also told me to create a PHP class which implements the required stuff. Don't get me wrong, i have nothing against OOP, if it's done properly. If you have a base class with properties and functions which works with those properties and you extend this base class several ways and then you make multiple instances of your classes, then OOP was the right way to do it. (For example GUI programming.) But when you have some standalone functions and you only put all of this into a class to make one single instance, then it's OOP for the sake of OOP which is not just unnecessary, but also a wrong approach, with much unneeded overhead and obscurity. And web2 frameworks - especially on the backend - tends to do this. Thanks, i'm curious too. We shall see... Oh... So you've linked them, because the current links are dead! Sorry, did not noticed, i just checked them and saw that there are no new images which i can add to the list. This is one strong reason to collect all the PowerPC and Sparc64 install media to one place; but that would need lots of GB of space. Okay, that's a lots of link, but i'll check the dead ones and replace them with new ones from your links, thanks. That sounds bad. Why would IBM use binary blobs in additional chips, when they made the entire CPU architecture open? Or will be the source for that blob available? While i've never heard of IBM involved in privacy or surveillance scandals, i don't like the sound of this. Maybe i am paranoid. I see, there are some new releases, that's why you linked the Ubuntu release list. I did not understood what did you mean about another list of releases... Please clarify next time, because i am human too and i can miss points. :) Thanks BTW, i've updated the corresponding entries. Great finding! Not just because the Copland entry, but because this site contains downloadable Mac OS 7-8-9 iso-s which we did not have until this point! Thanks, soon i will link them in. Update: Even Mac OS X ISO-s are here! Unfortunately only up to 10.3, but even that is great. Update 2: I've found AIX ISO-s on this site! This is a goldmine! Update 3: And Solaris 7 for Sparc64! You really have found a true goldmine my friend! Entschuldigung? :) |
