Have you ever applied to Red Hat? They offer a lot of remote working, although not in Hungary. I would like to try a spontaneous application.

Worths a shot, thanks for the tip...but i hope i will not be put on systemd developing tasks...although it might be easier to destroy it from the inside. :]

I have a well-known guy who got a job offer from Apple (in 2005) because they saw some of his code examples (Altivec) on the internet. But he refused it with the reason that he doesn't want to write x86 vector code.

I'm not surprised. Vectors on x86 were a true pain in the ass. I don't know how the situation has improved since on the x86 side, but then, he was right about it.

I did not know remotehub and indeed, thanks for showing them. (I saw a Java job on indeed, 500 EUR/day, which means 10k EUR/month. That is a yearly income for me... Maybe i should continue learning Java; four years ago i started to learn it and after 9 hour i made a simple Tetris game in it...but then i stopped, because i really disliked it.)

I think also that maybe NetBSD is the best option. Sadly OpenBSD is BE only.

NetBSD is BE-only too and 32-bit-only on top of that; OpenBSD at least has begun to support real 64-bit POWER, until this point they were 32-bit-only too. FreeBSD supports 64-bit POWER since a half decade, but it is still only Tier-2. NetBSD also. (With the exception of EvBPPC, that is Tier-1.) OpenBSD has full support for both POWER-based Macs and PowerNV. I don't know how good it is though.
